is one of the most effective methods to treat bamboos at home.
The mixture of boric acid and borax should
be in the ratio of 1:1.5. This is a powdery substance that dissolves easily in
water. This is an alkaline salt named as disodium octaborate tetrahydrate. This
method makes bamboo salty and that protects the bamboo from the insects. The
chemical method ensure you long time prevention of bamboo. Well treated bamboo
lasts for more than 40 years.

is completely different. To treat bamboo plants we need to keep watering it
regularly and water should cover its root.
A bamboo plant last for 7-10 year, which too depends on its species. A bamboo stems grow 25 cm per day and it reaches its maximum height in just 6-7 months and some tropical species reach till 30 m to 40m in height
